Tyler Young, Pharmacist
Tyler grew up in rural Eastern Washington in the small town of Oakesdale, a small farming community about 45 minutes south of Spokane. After high school Tyler attended Walla Walla Community College where he played baseball; he then transferred to Washington State University where he completed his Bachelors degree in Biology. He attended WSU College of Pharmacy and graduated in 2013 with his Doctorate of Pharmacy. Tyler married his wife Amy in August of 2014 before taking a position at Vashon Pharmacy in October of 2014. Tyler and Amy moved to the island in March of 2015 and have welcomed 4 daughters to their family since. Tyler and Amy purchased the store in 2017 and Amy manages the front-end gift shop side of the store. In his spare time Tyler can be found at cheerleading, dance and ballet practice with his girls; he loves to golf and is an avid sports fan. He especially enjoys watching his alma mater Washington State.
Seema Badrbigi, Pharmacist
Seema was born and raised just north of Seattle In Lynnwood area. Studied the pharmacy program in Washington State University. Since 2014 Seema has been in the pharmacy industry starting at a long term Care pharmacy focusing in geriatric care for patients at assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities and hospice. In 2003 she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and since then has always been fascinated by medicine and modern technologies. Additionally, Seema enjoys spending time with her husband, who co-owns Skybound Spirits, as well as her family. They have a black cat, and aspire to travel as much as they can throughout the world; so far 15 countries and counting. GO COUGS
Molly Dammeier, Pharmacist
Molly was born and raised in the South Puget Sound area. She went to WSU for college and pharmacy school where she met Tyler. She has worked in retail pharmacy for the entirety of her career and loves the patient-centered focus that independent pharmacies provide. She works part-time at Vashon and spends the rest of her time raising her three young daughters. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family and any kind of water activity.
Chris Davila, Pharmacist
Chris was born in Bronx, NY but moved to Thailand when he was still a toddler. He spent the next 10 years in Bangkok with his siblings where he learned the Thai language and culture. His family then relocated to Auburn, WA where he graduated high school and attended community college. Chris attended Washington State University and graduated in 2018 with his Doctorate in Pharmacy. Chris has worked at various pharmacies such as Walgreens, St. Anthony’s hospital, and Seattle Children’s hospital. Chris began working full time at Vashon Pharmacy in 2021 and is grateful to be able to serve the Vashon community. Chris enjoys drawing comics, playing basketball, and spending time with his wife and his 2 daughters.
Lisette Sheilds, Pharmacist
Lisette was born and raised in Bellevue, WA with a few years of her childhood spent in Livermore, CA. She graduated from Willamette University in Salem, OR with a degree in psychology, then from the University of Washington with a degree in pharmacy. She’s worked in several types of pharmacy environments including student health, public health, retail, clinic, and owner-operated stores. Lisette also works at other independent pharmacies in Seattle, all of which are partner stores of Vashon Pharmacy. When she’s not behind the counter, she can be found (poorly) playing soccer with her young son, sipping Starbucks with her daughter, cleaning a guinea pig cage, reading mystery novels, or listening to comedy podcasts. She is also a proud spouse of an elementary PE teacher. Lisette loves getting to commute on a ferry from West Seattle and is elated to be a part of the Vashon community.
